Dr. Erin Spencer is originally from Marion, Arkansas which is a short 15 minute drive over the river from Memphis. She attended Union University in Jackson, Tennessee for undergrad and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, with a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology. She went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. As much as she loved Charleston, she wanted to move back closer to home and ended up in Nashville. Her goal as a dentist is to help people feel confident through their smile. From a young age, Dr. Spencer spent a lot of time with her dentist and even more time with the orthodontist. In fact, Dr. Spencer was in some type of orthodontic appliance from third grade until she was a sophomore in high school. She never wanted that second set of braces at the time, but now she thanks her parents for putting her through it. It is Dr. Spencer’s belief that a smile can change everything, from the way you see yourself to the way you see the world.
In her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband Drew, as well as any outdoor activity. On the weekends you might find her running or biking the greenways of Nashville or kayaking the Cumberland. When she wants to slow down, you’ll find her hiking in Percy Warner park with her cute beagle, Carolina.
